Operation Sindoor Ongoing; Ceasefire Breaches May Prompt Response, Say Sources

Sources warned that despite the ceasefire agreement, any violation will result in 'consequences', as Operation Sindoor remains active. India on May 7 launched Operation Sindoor in response to the attack in Pahalgam, targeting nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir.
"Despite agreeing on a cessation of hostilities, they sent drones or missiles." They must know that violating the ceasefire agreement will result in consequences. Operation Sindoor continues," reported news agency ANI, citing sources.
Sources said that India sent a clear message by successfully executing Operation Sindoor, namely that there is no place in Pakistan where terrorists and their supporters can find refuge.
"We've sent a clear message to terrorists, and to their sponsors that there is no safe place for them in Pakistan. The terrorists can't launch and train from one location and then move to a four-storeyed house in another and believe they are safe. "We will come after them," said sources.
The Indian Armed Forces initiated Operation Sindoor at dawn on May 7 to strike nine terrorist facilities located in Pakistan and the Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir area. The Indian Armed Forces targeted the Jaish-e-Mohammad compound in Bahawalpur and the Lashkar-e-Taiba facility in Muridke during Operation Sindoor. India initiated this precision operation to counter the brutal terror attacks in Pahalgam Jammu and Kashmir which occurred on April 22. The deadly attack resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians which included a Nepali citizen.
The strikes led to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan which resulted in Pakistan intensifying cross border shelling while Indian forces took immediate countermeasures.
Reports emerged that Pakistan breached the military halt agreement between the nations shortly after both countries agreed to stop all combat operations on land, air and sea. India's air defense intercepted Pakistani drones during a blackout.
India called on Pakistan to take the appropriate steps and treat this situation with responsibility and seriousness.
